## Common questions.
We have a boardroom microphone system. Do we need this too?
If everyone sits around one boardroom table, probably not: a good table or ceiling microphone usually covers it. Cube earns its place once people sit in rows, along the walls, or beyond the table. Then the microphone goes to them instead of hoping their voice carries.
Does it work with Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?
Yes. To the laptop, the Hub is a USB microphone, so you choose it in whichever meeting app you use, just like any other microphone for meetings.
Can we keep our video bar or ceiling microphone?
Yes. Nothing gets removed. You choose the Hub as the microphone in your meeting app’s settings, and it mixes the Cube with Clip or the mics you already have. If you have questions or aren’t sure about your setup, our support team is happy to help.
What do we need already?
A computer for your video calls. The Hub connects to it with the included USB-C cable, which powers the Hub and sends audio both ways. If you also want the microphones and remote participants to be heard through the room, add active loudspeakers: they connect to the Hub’s 3-pin outputs, or through Catchbox XLR-to-3-pin output adapters (sold separately). Will our IT team approve it?
It uses license-free DECT wireless with AES-256 encryption, so there’s no frequency license to apply for. It doesn’t use your Wi-Fi. To the laptop, the Hub is a USB microphone.
What if it isn’t right for us?
Send the electronics back within 14 days in their original condition. Printed covers are made to order, so those stay with you.
